Librarian Wanderlust

I’ve been playing around with Podcast Alley and Podcast.com.  There is so much to choose from, it is kind of overwhelming.  It seems to me that Podcast Alley has better descriptions of podcasts, but they both have very long  lists when  you click on a  genre  button.  However, both  allow for  keyword searching, which I find easier then scrolling through lists.

Also, It has occurred to me that I am not crazy about listening to podcasts on my computer. I would much rather listen to them on my MP3 player.  But really, I would much rather listen to music on my MP3 player.  Maybe I just haven’t found a podcast to be smitten with yet.

However, I can see how podcasts of book reviews and booktalks would be wonderful for my patrons. Maybe even having the kids do the reviewing would be even better.
